TV Then and Now

  • Reading: Carrie
I have been having this really big problem lately with stuff that they put on the TV. It's really driving me mad. I haven't watched the Disney Channel in about 2 or 3 years, and i sat down and watched it the other day. I cant belive all the crap that they put on the TVs today... its so stupid... really.
I remeber when they played really good cartoons, and Zorro... (i miss that show sooo much, you have no idea), and now they play the stupidiest shit ever. same this with Nickelodeon, and CartoonNetwork. Kids these days are going to grow up so stupid if they keep watching this stuff.
Oh well...
Anyways, i spent my Thanksgiving at my aunts and uncle's house, with part of my family (which is still alot). I played pool, watched That 70's Show for like 3 hours, then SpiderMan 2.

Well, I guess i'll see you guys later or whatever

Saw III, Halloween, and all that jazz

Sun Nov 5, 2006, 1:19 PM
  • Listening to: Under Pressure by Queen/Daivd Bowie
  • Reading: The Shinning
  • Watching: some western on TV Land
Wow, its been a while since I updated my journal.

To start off with on Halloween, with my marching band, we had to go to all the little kids schools and nurseing homes around the area and play for them, then went to eat.
All the band members have to dress up, and we can't wear mask (or we won't beable to play).
I was going to go as Indaina Jones, but the day before Halloween, i tryed on my jacket and hat, and they were WAY to big to wear. So last min. I put together a Angus Young outfit. My friend Kaite dressed up as Lucy, from "I love Lucy". I knew who see was, but I never saw the show before (which is pretty weird for me).
After school was over I went to Ashlee's house, she dressed as Jack, from Nightmare Before Christmas. Then went to the movies to watch Saw III.
Saw III was really good. I saw the first Saw movie, but missed the 2nd one, but I caught on very quickly of what I missed. I like that one a whole lot better than the 1st on. After the movies were we going to go to Katie's house, but by the time we would have gone there, they would be done trickortreating. So me and Ashlee went to this town to trickortreat. We knew no one there (which was kinda scray).
Well thats pretty much it.

See ya,
Maggie

Wed Sep 20, 2006, 5:33 PM
well, this has to be alest the four week of school. all of my classes are pretty good. in history, i get into trouble to much. and language arts, i just hate the teacher. she would make a better... uhh... 4th grade teacher, than high school teacher.
my gosh... the freshmen are so stupid this year. they took the fun out of **booking people. they freshmen are booking other freshmen all the time. i evern saw one book a seinor... (stupid idea).
and all the emo people... it feels like i swimimg in an ocean of them. 90% of them are those people who were preppy last year, became emo over the summer kinda deal.
well, i have been saving up for my band trip to disney... :boogie: i need about $650.00, and so far i have about $80.00... so ya... my mom won't let me get a job... :(

well talk to you people later...
maggie
